Here are a few links that keep things in perspective:
If I want to be humored about graduate life and find other like-minded souls who have chosen to rot their lives away in offices cramped with the department's old stuff and piled high with books and papers then this link is for you. The site is called Piled High and Deeper (PhD) and it's comic strips are illustrated by this awesome guy named Jorge Cham. I could very much relate to the themes of the comics which I think is not only just for graduate students but for students in general who had to or are continuing to battle with procrastination, professors and grades. I loved his take on grad school that I bought all four books. Browsing through the strips is a great way to spend my break time.
Another worthy site is link. It's the "100 reasons NOT to go to Graduate School" blog. Truth be told though, all the entries so far are right on the mark. It has clear arguments which makes me feel worried for myself and question what have I gotten myself into. This is a good read for those who are planning to enter grad school or are thinking of stopping or quitting. As for me, I have had anxious thoughts and moments of despair wherein I question my ability to finish my studies or even if I am worthy of this degree but I think having such thoughts is normal and part of the grad life. I'm not sure I can say that I am coping well but I do have to say that I am more relaxed than I ever was before. The feeling and sentiment I have is to just do my best, love what I do and finish it.
Which leads me to my last links. A recent find from a friend's posting. These are good mantras to continue doing what we want and what we love to do. To not lose sight why we chose to enter certain careers/professions in the first place.
